At PainEase Coaching, our work is guided by the 5 Pillars of Holistic Healing. Within FLOW, these pillars provide the structure for your sessions: learning how pain works (PNE), supporting your neuro-biology with neuroplasticity and brain rewiring, creating safety in your brain and mind and in movement, optimizing nutrition that is personally tailored to you, incorporating breathwork practices, processing emotions like fear or frustration and blocked past core wounds, strengthening relationships and communication, and developing self-compassion and purpose. By weaving these pillars into a plan that respects both structural changes and nervous-system sensitization, you’ll have a comprehensive, sustainable pathway toward better function, confidence, and well-being.

Step 1: Initial 90-Minute Assessment
Our journey begins with a 90-minute assessment. This is a chance for us to connect, discuss your story, and complete a thorough pain and lifestyle assessment. From here, I design a tailored plan that adapts the FLOW framework to your unique condition, needs, and goals.
Step 2: The FLOW 6-Session Package
The FLOW program unfolds across six structured — yet highly adaptable — sessions to you as a unique individual. Each step builds on the last, ensuring that your pathway is personalized to both your pain type and your healing pace.
Session 1: Pain Neuroscience Education and introduction to the Big 5 Systems often impacted by chronic pain (the limbic system, central nervous system, autonomic nervous system, enteric nervous system, and the immune system). We also begin exploring neuroplasticity and how to create safety within the brain and body.
Session 2: Nutrition and lifestyle foundations — diet, supplements, stress management, sleep hygiene, and mindfulness. We look at unhelpful coping habits and ways to support your neuro-immune system for greater resilience.
Session 3: Restoring confidence through movement. Here we focus on pacing, micro-dosing feared movements, and using graded exposure to rebuild trust in your body. You’ll also learn strategies for preventing and managing flares.
Session 4: Emotional processing through Emotion Awareness & Expression Therapy (EAET). We work with past experiences, unresolved emotions, and current stressors, building emotional regulation and resilience for life’s inevitable challenges.
Session 5: Social healing and self-identity. We explore boundaries, communication, relational safety, and re-authoring your pain or illness identity into a more empowered narrative of where you’re heading.
Session 6: Self-compassion, purpose, and integration. This final session focuses on connecting with meaning, setting forward-looking goals, and weaving your new tools into daily, sustainable practices for long-term healing.
